While they enjoy exploring Northern California’s beautiful trails, they also learn how to move as a pack, listen, play respectfully, and grow in confidence. We also offer support and training for both dogs and their people, helping everyone better understand each other and move through life as a team.

Dog Aunt was founded by Dineke, who grew up surrounded by dogs and horses in Europe. When she moved to California and got a dog of her own, she searched for a way to give her pup daily exercise — and what’s better than hiking through NorCal’s stunning nature?
Over time, her one-dog adventure turned into a tight-knit pack. Every new dog that joins quickly learns the rhythm, just like a new kid at school following the lead of their classmates. The result? Dogs come home happy, fulfilled, and tired in the best way.
